Makeup That Won’t Kill You

I was ALWAYS in my mom’s makeup as a child. I started wearing light makeup in middle school, and by high school I had an established routine featuring Clinique, Smashbox, and Bare Minerals. I was glamming myself and my friends before every dance, concert,  and cheer competition.

Fast forward to a few years ago: my makeup collection was overflowing. I had every Naked palette. I could do a cut crease in my sleep and I couldn’t even count my lipsticks. As a beauty influencer, I was getting sent Yves Saint Laurent and Giorgio Armani Beauty products sent to me for free to try.

And then, in my effort to ditch chemical-loaded household products, I took the time to look at what I was putting on my face: I discovered I was caking on known carcinogens and hormone disrupters. What. The. Fresh. Hell. I have a family history of both reproductive issues AND cancer. I was literally walking myself RIGHT into problems.

I began to scan every makeup product I put on my face on EWG’s Skin Deep Database and the Think Dirty App so I could make sure I wasn’t poisoning my body.  But I have a way to save you the time and effort: Savvy Minerals by Young Living. You can feel “confident without compromise.”

Something BIG is coming, and I’ll reveal it in a new post on February 1st! You won’t want to miss it.

For now, I’ll leave you with this before and after featuring Savvy Minerals: the makeup that won’t kill you. If you’re interested in seeing the real, raw, un-blurred “before” image, you’re going to want to be part of this event on Facebook where we share tips, tricks, education, and surprises with you. Beginning January 31, we’ll be adding posts and videos. The videos will be under 5 minutes each so you don’t even need to set aside time to watch them.

Trust me… it’s going to be good.

With love,

Lauren
